Becky Elford - Quality and Compliance Director
Becky has been working in the Care industry for approx. 14 years. She started in Care due to having her first child and requiring some part time work and so started working nights. Over the years Becky has worked hard to progress in care and has carried out many qualifications along the way to further her knowledge. Becky has managed two homes over the years, with one being rated “outstanding” by the CQC.
Becky has a real passion for elderly care and is very dedicated in ensuring that the Residents in her care receive the best possible service and strives to always improve the service that is provided.
Becky has a Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Managements, a level 4, 3 and 2 in Health and Social Care and a level 2 in Safe Handling of Medications, along with a wealth of training courses.
Becky has also been recognized in a previous role for her contribution to activities in care homes and was awarded Care Manager of the Year in 2017 at the National Activities Providers Association. This is an area of caring for the elderly that she feels very passionate about. Meeting the social wellbeing of a person is as important as the meeting the care needs. Having access to meaningful and engaging activities is vital in the wellbeing of people.
Becky is married with three children and at home, she has a smallholding of various animals which she enjoys very much, some who have visited Fir Villa already!
