Tracy Ludgate - Activity Co-ordinator
Tracy worked for the NHS for 5 years working in Physiotherapy, general nursing care and mental health in various locations, gaining experience and qualifications in the health and social care field. Whilst working in mental health Tracy gained skills in tailoring specialist activities to the needs of dementia patients and management of difficult and challenging behaviour.
Tracy has always had a keen interest in Mental Health and has been able to incorporate her experience in Therapy to promote and encourage individuals independence and strengths based around their needs and limitations.
Tracy went on to work in Social care planning and maintaining individual care packages in the community and in residential and nursing settings. Gaining experience in assessing needs and advocating for individuals to gain the best out of themselves and of their local and social network.
Tracy has a person centred approach to activities within the home and aims to provide activities that will stimulate, and interest all residents. She is keen to access and use community connections to encourage the residents out of the home and engage with community projects.
Tracy has gained qualifications in NVQ level 3 Health and social care, and an Advanced Apprenticeship level 2 Health sector.
