Our experienced and highly trained team is available 24 hours a day, providing attentive and tailored support for every individual. We care for all aspects of wellbeing, including physical health, mental health, dementia care, emotional wellbeing and social engagement.
Residents are encouraged to be actively involved in their care planning and in decisions about life at Fir Villa—because this is their home.
Accommodation Designed Around You
We provide residential care for up to 22 residents aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia, within our main house. Each resident has unique needs, and we are equipped to support a wide range of care requirements.
For those seeking greater independence, our separate one-bedroom cottage, Owls Nest, offers a more self-contained option with minimal support and supervision. Suitable for single occupancy or couples, Owls Nest combines privacy with reassurance—providing independence without isolation.
All nurse call and emergency provisions are linked directly to the main building. It is envisaged that if the care needs of these residents increase they will be offered accommodation in the main building. All residents living in “Owls Nest” have access to the same care and activity facilities offered in the main house. Staff assistance in Owls Nest is provided on a risk assessed individual need basis and night care cover is always provided.
