Kirstie Heath- Registered Manager

With nearly two decades of experience in the care sector, Kirstie Heath brings deep compassion, expertise, and dedication to her role as Manager at Fir Villa. Her journey into care began in childhood, inspired by her mother’s work in the field. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion, particularly for dementia and end-of-life care.

Kirstie began her career in a dementia unit in Dorchester, where she quickly discovered her calling. Over the years, she has earned a series of qualifications including NVQ Levels 2 and 3, and Diplomas at Levels 4 and 5 in Health and Social Care and Management. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through her additional training as a Dementia Champion, Manual Handling Instructor, and her Level 2 qualification in Safe Handling of Medication and also level 3 Safeguarding.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kirstie completed her Level 4 Diploma while working closely within a nursing home setting—an experience that broadened her clinical knowledge and resilience.

Since joining Fir Villa in May 2022 as Deputy Manager, Kirstie has progressed to her current leadership role. She has built strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and professionals, and is deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of care. Alongside Deputy Manager Ami, Kirstie ensures Fir Villa remains a warm, safe, and supportive environment for all who live and work there.

Kirstie’s passion for dementia and end-of-life care drives her to continually learn, teach, and mentor others in the field. She takes immense pride in her work and leads with empathy, integrity, and professionalism.

Outside of work, Kirstie enjoys life at home with her three children, and two dogs.
